Serenity Charity Screenings, June 17 and 23

I wanted to let you all know that there are two charity screening events of the Firefly movie Serenity coming up in June. Proceeds benefit the charity Equality Now, a group which works to promote gender equality and human rights for women around the world.

Cool! It's a fun show. I just finished showing the movie to my sister last night.

I'd be interested. Preference for the San Jose showing, but I'm good with either.

Wow. I have to admit I'm surprised. I thought you didn't particularly like Firefly. It would be fun to see you at the event, though!

I am planning on attending the south bay showing if all goes well. It's father's day, so I'll have to sell my dad on going. ;)

I'm not really fond of Firefly, though I have been wanting to give it another chance and see if it hits me differently now. Besides, having an excuse to go hang out with friends at a movie sounds like fun. :)
