Atlantis

On first viewing, I think I like it so far. They seem to have a reasonable setup for why they won't be able to just hop on home anytime soon. I'm a little iffy on the Wraiths having defeated the Ancients (or at least this subgroup), I admit. At least the Ancient in the hologram message mentioned that this happened because they'd been overconfident. Still... I'm glad that they seem to have put together the rest of it to be consistent with the rest of the Stargate story. We actually have a reasonable explanation for WHY the Ancients named it the "Lost City". Like Jonas said, it never made sense that the Ancients would name their own city something like that, and Daniel's assertion that the Ancients "made it lost" was almost equally puzzling. The setup here for Atlantis finally explains this. It equally explains how the city could have been sunk beneath the ocean in a far distant galaxy, yet have legends here on Earth. That was a nice touch, and I'm glad they thought of it. Though I'm a little confused. Just how long *were* the Ancients in Pegasus? They left Earth millions of years ago, yet passed the story to humans after coming back? Or maybe they passed the story along a long, long time after coming back?

Oops. Gotta go to Costco with the parents, will have to finish later.
