Funny coincidence
My cat's name is Sherbert. Yeah, it's kind of funny, but I was 10 when I got her. She's mostly white with calico markings just on the top of her head and her tail. If they were just orange she'd look like a Turkish Van, except she's a shorthair.
I was poking around on a local humane society webpage, thought I'd check out the adoptable cats, and there was another Sherbert! Not only did this cat have the same name (misspelling and all) but he has the same Turkish Van markings with short fur. The only differences are that he doesn't have black mixed in and that he's a , well, a he.
Anyway, I found it pretty amusing. ^_^
