I watched Whisper of the Heart. Yes, I am pretty much Miyazaki-uneducated. Yes, I loved it a lot.
... actually, the fantasy sequences were the least interesting for me. But the everyday moments, people living the way that looks kind of similar to mine (books! John Denver!). And the weather. The beginning was so summer, I almost felt the sun.
I think I want some more Miyazaki, but haven't yet chosen which.
