I'm told his daddy is Turkish Angora, though I don't know how pure. His mommy, though, is ordinary - what they call "european shorthair". As for getting him now... I always knew I'll get another cat sooner or later, but precise date was left to fate; and about a month ago a friend called and told me that a friend of hers has a kitty and do I want it?
I asked about the parents' breeds because I read in a cat book once that having a cat of a single solid color (I think Yuki's close enough to that to count. That one little dark spot on his head is just too cute!) is actually quite rare given all the different color combinations out there. Unless, that is, one parent is a full breed cat of a type with a solid colored coat. The little stray I found at work is solid gray so we think she must have come from an 'accident' litter where a pure breed got pregnant from a non-pure breed and the owners dumped the resulting kitties so they could get rid of them. So sad.

Is he a pure breed or close to it? What kind? *Has an interest in cat breeds.* What made you decide to get a kitty now?
And is this 20 questions?
What?
;-P

And no, it's not 20 questions... yet. ;)
