In this post there is a mood theme consisting of animations from the flash game "Die Anstalt" or "Parapluesch: Psychiatry fur Misshandelte Kuscheltiere".
DUE TO SUBJECT MATTER OF THE GAME, THIS MOOD THEME WILL INEVITABLY CONTAIN TRIGGERS FOR MENTAL DISORDERS RANGING FROM MODERATE TO SEVERE, AS WELL AS SELF-HARM AND BODY DYSMORPHIA. I have tried to keep any unnecessarily triggery content to a minimum.
Programs used to create this mood theme include FastStone Capture for initial video, Free Video to Jpg Converter to get each frame, and Abode Photoshop for the animation and cropping.
This mood theme focuses on all 6 of the characters of the game - Kroko, Dolly, Lilo, Sly, Dub and Dr Wood. Since there is only so much material to work with, there will be a certain amount of spoilers for their cases: not necessarily for their backstories, but more for how the therapy will go. As such, it is highly recommended that you play the game fully before you take this mood theme (mind you, if you're not a fan already, what led you to this post?). You have been warned.
Each of the six characters has exactly 22 moodlets each. There are 132 moodlets in total, and each character has at least 2 angry moodlets, at least 7 happy, at least 1 okay, at least 5 sad, and exactly 5 miscellaneous (scared, working etc). Each moodlet has a unique gif.
For the trigger and spoiler reasons mentioned above, and going against my usual convention, I will provide a zip file of all the moodlets you need for you to upload to your LiveJournal scrapbook and use. The moodlets are listed in alphabetical order in the folder. It will be provided at the end of this post.
