long birthday weekend...
This weekend has been insane! sungirldotorg arrived on Friday evening from Yokohama. I picked her up halfway to the station and we returned to my appartment, met Josh and got ready to go out. We ended up grabbing dinner quickly at Lotteria in Shinsaibashi before I had to head to work. Josh and Brianna headed to PIG & WHISTLE to meet up with some other friends.
The club was a little busy Friday night, more dance showcases and free tequila provided by the DJ's. Josh and Brianna showed up a little later, so my co-worker Abby and I hooked Bri up with some birthday drinks. I finished at about 2:30AM and we bounced to CINQUECENTO and met up with Kosuke, Keita, Yoshi, etc. More fun times, another long night. I believe we got home at about 6-7AM.
Saturday morning we woke up and got ready before heading to Namba to meet with Yoshimi and Megumi who were coming down for the weekend. After we met, we went to NORUBU to eat yakiniku for lunch. After eating, we went to CLUB SEGA and took some puri-kura before returning to Namba station to meet Yoshimi's boyfriend Des. After meeting Des, we hung around Namba and Shinsaibashi for a while before heading to Brianna's birthday party.
The party was held at a darts bar in Namba called BEE. There was probably about 25+ people that attended. It was nomihodai and tabehodai (all you can eat/drink). So we drank, ate food, ate cake, played darts, mingled, etc.
After dinner we decided to head to CLUB CAMON (my work place) since it was pay-day and also a club to go to where everyone could get in for cheap because I work there. More drinks, dancing... Random fun. I'm not exactly sure how long we were there for, probably until about 4:00AM when we decided to bounce to CINQUECENTO. We met Hiro at CINQ, but by the time we got there they were already going to do last call soon, plus Bri and Josh were quite tired so they took a taxi home.
I had promised my co-workers before that I would go to SAM & DAVE 5 for a little while to meet up them because it was CANADA NIGHT and they were serving pancakes (mmm pancakes and alcohol...). I ended up e-mailing Akiro to see if he was going to be there as well since he had just finished working at BUCK-TICK's live. He told me that he was outside SAM5 with Akio from BALZAC. So Tamaki ended up coming to SAM5 with me. Akiro introduced my to Akio, we talked to a little outside and I also told him that I knew hisaki thats when Akio mentioned that Akihito was also there. They were all eating hot-dogs...
We decided to go inside, Akiro got us all in for free. I actually ended up talking to Akio a lot about random things as well as swapping e-mail address', where as Akihito leaned up against the bar counter and began to fall asleep. I find it amusing that Akio and my e-mail are both quite GLAY related in a sense. Eventually Naoki and his girlfriend (co-workers) and Dan (other co-worker) showed up so we talked to a while. I think I stayed until about 7:30AM before heading home.
I woke up Sunday morning, Josh and Brianna went to meet Tamaki for lunch. I relaxed for a little while before getting ready and heading to Shinsaibashi. I met up with Yoshimi, Megumi, Des, Tamaki, Josh, and Brianna. Brianna had to leave to return to Yokohama. So the rest of us went to Kushiya and then after went to karaoke until about 2AM.
