who made Korea a pharmacist

why would anyone make Korea a pharmacist

she's just here for cough syrup and possibly something horrible-tasting to maybe sneak into America's dinner tonight, but...]

W-well I suppose it is not a concern, you'll manage to get yourself fired eventually--

[clears her throat]

As long as you're here, you can help me.

( either he didn't hear the first part or he's choosing to ignore it; )

Sure thing! What does Noona need? Song-gen? Snuffs? Licorice root? Or maybe moxibustion?

[she was going to say 'cough syrup and rat poison', but-] Moxibustion?! You can do that here? Well, let's get started!

Sure! I even made the stick, see? I couldn't find any mugwort, but this should do!

[s-so excited by this because she didn't think that these kinds of traditional remedies were possible in Mayfield because of the lack of supplies.

so excited, in fact, that she's tugging at the edge of her shirt.] Should I take it off right here?

Sure, sure! No one else is even here!

( despite being all about ~modernity~, Korea is very loyal to his remedies. this stick thing might even work. )

[or it'll all go terribly wrong but oh well]

Okay! [takes off her shirt! for this, she will drop the whole 'I am a modest delicate flower ripe for plucking' thing.] Where can I sit?

( did he mention he is not liable for any damages ... )

Um, um! ( shoving everything off the counter; ) There! Noona can sit here!

( he may or may not be checking her out at the moment. )

[well that's... oh... well, he hasn't given her a waiver to sign okay!!

also, she is not noticing, though she normally would. she's just too excited because moxibustion! exciting!!] Are you sure that's okay... [oh well. hopping onto the counter!]

'Course it is! I work here, you know? So I can do stuff like this!

( he's got the stick, which is about the length of his hand, and a little bowl of a powdery mixture at the ready. )

Does Noona prefer burning or with needles?

( and really now all they need is for China to walk by and freak out because Korea is mildly patting down Vietnam's back. 8| )

I like both! I can't decide! [laying down on her front now!] Oh, I guess we'll start with burning...

[I... I wonder who he'd be more jealous of......]

Burning it is!

( he pushes some of the powder into the stick and heats the end, then feels his way across Vietnam's back until he's at a place between her shoulders. in theory, when the heated end touches her it shouldn't hurt.

outwardly Vietnam, inwardly Korea. )
