Couple's Retreat Pic Spam Part 1
On the rewatch, this single image summarizes my reaction to the entire episode:

What. The. Ever. Loving. Fuck. was that?
Still, not going to knock the first half since they make it look like they are both only bullshitting each other and they have blissfully canon implied sex as a result.
However, there's a horrible downward spiral after that point.
Don't watch it after Charmcaster wakes up alone and surprised to be so. It sort of nosedives after that.

Oddly, this kind of looks like the set up they had in many of my Time Heals-verse fics. If you are super obsessive like I am, you might know that this is pretty much what Hex's bed looks like in that universe...and that they have sex in it when he is not around and don't change the sheets. Vengeance sex in your bed. Except Darkstar was...you know...Darkstar. Either way, you gotta love sexy circle beds, drapes, and way too many pillows. The Hero Trio sure are cockblockers. They were totally going to get their freak on AGAIN if they hadn't shown up.
