Alright, so...I just saw the season premiere of Ben 10: Ultimate Alien in which we are introduced to the Mary Sue, I mean, Convenient Plot Device, Eunice.
Eunice is an alien girl whose pod/ship crashes right near where Ben and Kevin are irresponsibly racing their cars. How Convenient.
Gwen cuts her hand opening the pod. This is hugely important later.
Eunice is inside naked, so Ben gives her his jacket while Gwen goes to find clothes for her. The Trio was going camping. How Convenient.
Eunice has amnesia and animals come to her a la a Disney Princess. She seems to be in awe of every living thing. How Convenient.
Through a series of convenient plot twists, bounty hunter fights, and an Azmuth cameo, we discover she's just a genetic construct projection of a Unitrix, an early prototype for the Omnitrix. How Convenient.
Sure, she's not really alive, but gosh darn it, Ben is sure that she has a soul and is a whole, complete person. RAWR.

That actually makes sense. If Gwen kept her end of the bargain (forgetting all that EPIC GOLD TREACHERY in the season finale), she's be keeping Darkstar fed, meaning he would have to touch her. It is implied in canon that the mouths in his hands are not painful for the victim, but his dark beams are. Huh. Okay, so if he touched Gwen, a flake of skin or a hair could have been on her when she was sampled, resulting in...RECOMBINATE EUNICE XD
