The past 10 years have been interesting, to say the least:
Finished my freshman year of HS, obtained a new outlook on life, started my first job, moved for the first time since I was three and started a new HS. Also, decided that Changeling was my favorite rpg ever.
Made good friends that I still have to this day that I love dearly. Started dating my ex who I thought I'd be with forever, discovered that I loved the drama department and that having a hippie art teacher truly is radical (as Michelangelo would say).
I started going to freak manor, met my ex's parents, got my license, drove my best friend to her mom's funeral and later that summer got into a 12 car pile up in I-5.
Graduated HS, left home (albeit not on the greatest of terms), watched my ex almost die, accepted marriage proposal, started college.
Moved to Seattle, turned into a living zombie, my car died in the middle of moving back to Anacortes.
Moved to Bonney Lake, then to Redmond, both at the behest of my ex's jobs and tried desperately to finish up an Associates degree.
Finally got my Associates degree, discovered the geek paradox (white nerdy comp geeks with hot foreign girlfriends), hit my 21st B-day as well as the clubs, decided that I was tired or waiting and started planning my wedding to my ex.
Started playing Mortal Tears and Roller Derby, decided that I was done with college and was introduced to Dustin, realized that Dustin was my soulmate, left my ex, spent the summer homeless. Best damn summer of my life.
Moved in with Dustin and clan, proposed to Dustin (cause if you want a man, you must take him!), started working for myself, got on JetCity's CarnEvil, met Dustin's family, discovered I was preggers, started weight lifting, Dustin proposed to me (cause it had to be mutual, that was the deal), we were married the following week on the solstice, Sam had his accident and broke his neck, I retired from derby, Dustin and I had our party wedding and legalized everything the following August, Mom and I had a work-road trip to CA for Great Western War, Crazy Mountain Adventure* ensued, new house acquired.
My baby girl was born, we had a big party almost every month, my ex called me out of the blue, all the kids got on the same travel schedule, my hermity-ness started showing around Halloween, adoption paper quest began, and then there was MelMas.
It's been quite the roller coaster. And I couldn't be happier where I am right now.
