Well i wanted to wait till i got the actual news.
I got a job working at Falcons Tree House as a concept artist and storyboard artist. Right now at this point i am a consultant, meaning i will be only there for three days out of the work week, so i will be working at the caricature stands at Universal Florida.
But pretty much the company designs theme park attractions. They mostly have stories to go with them, so they brought me on board to help out with the stories. I'm nervous because this is my first real art job, where i go to a studio from 9-5 and work and get paid a flat rate instead of fighting to make commission. I get 150 a day for just being there, and if you do the math, at fasens i would have to do 532 dollars a day in sales just to make that in commission. ( me and this guy named lee sat there trying to figure it out).
I start on monday, and through this month i work 7 days a week. Because any days i'm not there i'll be at the park working at the caricature stands.
Right now i have a foot in the door, now i have to work and hopefully they will keep me on board and it'll turn into a five day work week with weekends off ( that would be great)
