I don't think they can get away with calling it an accident, that just took too much manufacturing of pink plastic. They even did the memory card!

I would have to agree. Despite my love of all things Hello Kitty, I can only handle pink in small doses.

I'm having flashbacks to 1996 when they(Disney's Imagineers) decided to paint the castle pink and make it look like a cake. AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!! What nightmares. When my wife and I got married that was the backdrop from the wedding pavillion, until just months before they installed a wonderful stained glass window to block the view(whew!!). I still have vivid memories of working the parade and seeing the abomination in the background. That was bad enough to have to see it if you are on vacation or working there, but now by request the Brits want their own type of pink monstrosity sitting in the living room. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sony should not have caved, they should have put out an advert saying that you could special order a PS2 in the color of your choosing. Plain, simple, and not flooding the shelves of retailers with pepto-station.
