Well, I guess its my turn to bash or praise the movie Saw. It was a good thrill, and definitely fulfilled the aspect of cheap thrills with as little or no graphic violence. Definitely one to you can watch again just for the fact of being intelligent and saying during the middle 'Its the dead guy on the floor, look out!'. Now, I have seen my fair share (if not every single one) of horror movies and that ranks up with any other one. It was original, suspenseful, unpredictable and had quite the surprising ending which I might have given away already. Oh well. I give the movie Saw a thumbs up from Ebert and a thumbs down from Roper.
On a latter note, conservative senior citizens suck da wang. If there was any minority that was more picky, obnoxious, overbearing and narrow minded it would be them. They would have to be the only ones who would openly make quite snide remarks about a person while, perhaps, there brother is walking by and can certainly hear them loud and clear. So I deem it necessary for this older brother to full and well spin around and give that crotchety old hack a piece of his mind no matter the consequences. Albeit they are 'elderly' and deserve more respect but they will get about as much respect as a the gum on my shoe if they have the tenacity to talk shit about someone else and have the arrogant mind to say it so un secretively that other people can hear it. That really pisses me off. Integrity! My kingdom for integrity!
