Another weekend gone by

And another night waiting for my hair to dry before I go to bed. Sleep while it's wet makes it go all over the place lol. I've been keeping myself rather busy lately. I've practiced a bunch with doing my fashion sketches and illustrations by using a rather useful tip from a friend. So far it's really working to get the images out. When I actually get around to purchasing a scanner then I'll be able to share them, most likely on my facebook page though, but I'll link of course.
I have also been really pushing myself to learn the bits of gimp that I would like to utilize, and so far I think I've been fairly successful. Made a new banner for my etsy shop (http://www.etsy.com/shop/tragicallyadorned) I'm really pleased how that turned out and I made a new icon to go with it, as well as a new icon for here. The new ad for my shop which is on my profile page here was a tougher one but I got it to look how I wanted it (having a March sale in my shop).
Other than all that I've been working, tidying, got a new car (I think she'll be named Alice but it hasn't stuck 100%), and many other things that I can't recall. I've lately been very into murder mystery books of which I've devoured two in the past month and a half between work and home. The first was Malice by Lisa Jackson. Then I moved onto Deeper than the Dead by Tami Hoag. Loved them both though I guessed the killer of the second book early on. After reading Malice I searched through and found a few paperbacks of hers for about $5 each so that I could continue on while I searched for more. Now I'm adding more of Tami's to the list as well :D I do love a good book. And Laurel K. Hamilton I enjoy however.....I'm not going to read those at work lol. Those are stay at home, read in bed, possibly by yourself, kind of books.....Okay it's more like fantastical smut but I enjoy it!
Ahem, onto other news, I'm looking to probably make my own website and veer off of etsy at some point. Don't get me wrong I do love the site and most of all I like seeing what others create, but I want to be able to make the perfect atmosphere for my items.
Well I should get going, my hair is oddly almost dry already. Super fast!
