haha! i've been thinking about this for some time now. and then a friend just came from verona to watch 75 year old montserrat caballe, one of the very few sopranos worthy of the diva title. and then i watched an old dvd of vh1's divas live with aretha franklin, carol king, celine dion, etc. i thought of our very own sad counterparts and just had to let it off my chest!

Sa dami ng nagpapaka-diva, nawalan na ng halaga ang term.

Resulta...TRUE DIVAS CRINGE AT THE IDEA OF THEM BEING CALLED A DIVA.
