[She's getting that and it's really kind of pissing her off. So enough network flirting. Long black hair starts to unfurl from the ceiling behind him.]

The hair attacks, trying to snare him and keep him from doing whatever it is Medicine Sellers do to stop onryo.]

[Then clearly, luring her into the open is his next order of business. He could transform and destroy everything in his path until he got to her, but that's terribly imprecise--not really his style.]

[He leaps back out of the way of the hair, deflecting it with his sheathed sword, moving with just a little too much speed and grace for a normal human. He was just trying to track her down, a moment ago, so interference there won't really bother him.]

[A creaking sound, clearly the noise she normally makes but coming from the walls now, rises in volume as she tries again to snare him.]

[Immediately, he flings out two handfuls of ofuda, covering floor, ceiling, and three walls. They're protective magic, but strong enough to act as an offense, trying to force her presence away in those directions.]

[The hair dissolves and the croaking stops. All that's left behind is an odd, somewhat-oval-shaped stain on the floor of the room by the wall.]

[It appears to be nothing but a brownish stain.

So of course that means it must be something else altogether.]

[....He's going to see how it reacts to an ofuda. If the ofuda's writing turns red, that's an indicator of current, active supernatural-ness.]

[Kayako's presence isn't actually inherent in the stain. But it can act as a doorway for her to physically get into the room. Because, dude, this is not over.]
