Pieces of golden sands against his feet were warm, but the cold of water that was washing them away as he walked towards the sea sent a soothing sensation to his spine. His eyes were set on the horizon, the sunset mesmerizing in every way.
“Takaki~.”
He turned his head towards the newcomer that called him. A smile crept on his face when he saw Daiki walking towards him. “The BBQ has started,” Daiki added.
“Give me a minute,” he replied.
“I’ll tell the rest then.”
Instinctively, Takaki grabbed Daiki’s wrist with persuasive eyes.
“Stay…” he said.
And Daiki did.
