Rainbow Ridge Prosperity Year 8

The Marsh Family

Life is good for Emily Marsh.  She finally breaks down and has a second "hot" date with old man Randolph, and  daughter Christine got a great report card.  What could possibly go wrong?

In case you've forgotten, Emily is a Pleasure sim, not Knowledge.  :(

She makes a very graceful landing though, I have to say.

Her ever loving family is just broken up about it, really.  Not a Knowledge sim in the bunch.  Hey, I never told her to go looking at stars, she has no one to blame but herself.

The Mullins Family

Poor Thomas has a break down, probably because the birthday cake glitched and it took ten tries to grow the kids up.  These kids are special, check it out!  "Look Grandpa, no hands!"

Finally the Diva's little offspring grow up.  Dick is a Gemini, very active, outgoing, mean and serious.  Should be fun later on in life!  What a cutie though, huh?

Somehow his twin sister Jane is an Aries, but with basically the same personality as her brother. And just as cute, I might add.

Since the aging up part of the birthday party was glitched, Kevin and his new friend Jessie Randolph attempt to boost the score via pillow fighting.  I know that's what we do at all of our birthday parties, when we can't woohoo, of course.  ;)

It's moments like this I wish I had those fish instead of plain old pillows.  Heh.

Pillow fighting wasn't really helping, so Tricia and Joshua tried to get everyone smustling...

No one else ever did join, but the Thriller-esque dance was still quite entertaining for me, and somehow the party was a success!

The Boyd Family

Awww, little Jaden is sooooo cute, what could possibly make him look so upset, you ask?

Yeah.  Imagine this was your Mommy.  You'd cry, too.  *Honestly, doesn't Melissa look like she really belongs in my Hippie legacy instead of square Rainbow Ridge?*  Only she doesn't even need a "bubble blower" to look this way.

I adore Dakota, but even his little sim pet self reminds me of why I gave my beagle away years ago.  He howls constantly!

I don't know if Shelley is a clean freak or what, but she is always bathing the poor dog, maybe in an attempt to shut him up, who knows.

The Pederson Family

Poor Daniel goes from being Mr. Big to cleaning the "hampster" cage.  He really does like Weebus, but he starts to get depressed so I decide to make let them all take a trip together.

They travel to Takemizu Village and stay at the Flaming Dragon Hotel, cause I stink at building and I'm not very creative.  Thanks to my rockin' answer skills on chance cards, the whole family is chased down by bees on their first tour.  Can't remember where they went exactly, but it doesn't matter.  They weren't liking it, enough said.

I make Pammy attempt to learn teleporting.  Again, by the grimace on her face you can tell she wasn't liking that, either.

Not to be outdone by her sister, Millie quickly starts meditating too.  Neither of them last long, however.

To break out of the boredom (mine, as much as theirs) they go visit the wise old man and finally manage to make him tea.

And hear the Dragon Legend.  Now I can make sure they pass it on to future generations.  If I remember to.

The Randolph Family

Poor Jessie is tired of living with her elderly father and step mother that she's barely spoken to.  Even though she's in public school she doesn't have a friend yet besides her sisters.  Sara Marsh walks by and Jessie stops her in her tracks.  After many bad starts the two finally become friends. (Did I mention I have a neighborhood of predominantly mean sims?  Yeah.)

Later that night Jessie works on her friendship with Kevin Mullins and makes plans to sneak out with him later on.  Oooh, sneaky girl is...sneaky?  Not so much.

She gets busted!  But lucky for her the cop got glitched and her father, Robert never woke up, so she missed that embarassing lecture.  She still cried though.  Hope the limo ride was worth it, Jessie!

The Danger Family

Susie Mullins-Danger, stuff your face like that while you can, because it will catch up with you, take my word for it!

Heh.  You can't really tell here, but she has her first pregnancy pop!  I can't wait to see how cute *fingers crossed* this kid is going to be.

Caulfield really is excited about the coming baby.  Just tired from working so much as a SCIA spy.  What a sexy spy, eh?

Oh yeah, and he can be a jerk if you flush the toiled while he's in the shower.  Just a warning.  He'll chase you down and lecture you, even if you are carrying his first born child.

The Boyd Family

Nicholas reaches the top of some career.  I think.  He's in the Business career, as President of something.  I don't really know, or care, but he's proud, that's what matters.

However, all work and no play make Nicholas a boring boy, so he and his wife Rose head to Wills Garage.  To play with a train set, of course.  Like everyone does, at their town garage.  Rose looks thrilled, right?  She knows she'll never have this baby if they stay on a community lot forever!

And Nicholas is no one trick pony, oh no!  He can cook too, and whips up a plate of BBQ'd something or other to share with the other tinkering train lovers.  He obviously knows the way to a pregnant woman's heart.

The Boyd Family

And last, but not least...

I'm obviously in the middle of a little baby boom in Rainbow Ridge.  Every family is either expecting or has a baby already.  Bell is glowing, and her fiance Ethan is the silent, strong type.  I had to make them sit down together to eat, all they want to do is play the sims together.  What kind of losers do that?  Heh.

Ethan is just like his brother, Nicholas.  He loves to cook, and here he is updating his LiveJournal recipe swap.  He claims to be blogging about cuisine, but I think he's checking up on his neighbors by reading my blog.  :)

Again, thanks so much for reading and/or looking at the pictures and scrolling to the bottom!  :)
