Little rump wiggling in the air, black paws kneaded the loamy earth. Azure eyes caught her unsuspecting victim in their crosshairs. Transformed into the perfect predator, she would take this moment to practice what meager skills she had hopefully acquired.
Target in sight, her thoughts eagerly whispered.
One step.
Two.
And in a graceless leap, she latched onto the fleecy Mokomoko-sama. Harmless teeth took clumps of the fur into her jaws. Now I've got you!
It was the loud clearing of a throat that stole her focus from her helpless prey.
"Feline."
Kagome flinched. Edging away, she sulked.
Spoiled sport.
