A Quick Reminder
To those of you who were partaking of the gossip surrounding my relationship, shame on you. I know who some of you are, but I don't know others. Regardless, I hope you will have the good sense to keep your mouths shut next time. What you chose to spread was completely untrue and hurtful. You are all quite fortunate that I heard about it from someone else (granted, the information was still incorrect) and not one of you.
I know who the source of this information was and you, above all, should never dare to call yourself my friend or Will's friend ever again. I know I do not consider you a friend and probably never will. What you started had the potential to be highly destructive. I know you will not feel shame or remorse, because that's not who you are. I can only hope you will one day realize just what you could have caused.
To the one who was honest with me, I thank you. I respect your decision not to reveal others involved, but it does not change the fact that they were. It is far, far too much to hope for an apology. I hope the guilty parties who do see this understand just what kind of an impact it could have had.
I have done my best to maintain a low drama persona. By bringing it to my doorstep, I feel I must respond to it. I feel hurt and ashamed for all of you involved. Next time, either think before you speak or attempt to confirm/clarify before spreading gossip such as this.
