First death!
On Sunday early afternoon, I was invited into a 36 Level Sync PT at East Ronfaure S fighting Colibris and Ladybugs. This PT got me from 44 to 46. Even though I've been hearing how great this XP spot was, I personally didn't think it was any better than other XP camps. Even with a PL, the puller pulled a tad too fast as if in a merit PT while the mobs were killed way too slow. Playing aggressively again, I pulled hate pretty often. I'm slowly getting used to Seigan + Third Eye. However I don't like this method of tanking. It relies too much on luck and 30s timers.
I also died in this PT. Seigan + Third eye only anticipated once. The Colibri followed it up with a few normal hits than killed me with Pecking Flurry. Playing how I think a SAM should play will probably lead to more deaths. I think I'll start a ongoing tally. The parse showed I was doing 35% of the PT damage while the next closest DD (a MNK) was doing 20%.
