What would you say if an email with the following information appeared in your inbox:

I take it there wasn't any text in the email either? That too is an important thing to do. You should've emailed him back bitching about it. At least your email probably showed it was a .pdf, rather than an .exe! Did the file at least have a descriptive title?

I think what I would've done is downloaded the .pdf file, scanned it, and THEN opened it.
