Graffiti
My room here in Thomas has a lot of graffiti. At least twenty different people have scrawled messages on the bulletin board behind my desk over the years. Song lyrics, deep thoughts, phone numbers, addresses, drawings. Over in one corner, in an area that is otherwise blank, is written: "Adam Gioia, CTY 1994, Session 2". I happened to be at CTY that session, though I don't remember the name myself. I noticed this the first day I moved in, but tonight, exhausted from the last dance of the summer, I find myself moved by this.
