Had a decent 4th, nothing spectacular, but I'm still a little tired from being all over Florida this weekend. =P Our cat, who still does not have a name, is sleeping on my feet. I am listening to an awesome song, thanks to Ms. Velasco. All is well in my world at the moment. =D
Also of note: I am going to start training in the martial arts again. Sensei shot me an IM yesterday telling me about an awesome new school he thought I'd really like. Combination of different forms of combat grappling with some Jeet and other stuff thrown in...with, according to Sensei, a very "manly" training method... ::shrug:: He hasn't ever steered me wrong before. =) I'm excited as hell about it.
So yeah, despite the fact that I had completely terrible expectations at the beginning of the weekend, things turned around pretty quickly and it looks like all will be resolved well. I even picked up a project (or two) for the next month.
I guess if I were to say life hasn't been particularly kind to me lately, I'd also have to say it's also made it back up to me. And I feel really optimistic, for a variety of reasons.
Anyway, I am gonna rock out some ironing for work tomorrow, then prolly go to bed. =) Dena, gimme a call this week plz.
