Yes, children, it's time for Taco to update this piece again. You can cheer anytime you're ready. Though it might be quite long, so you don't have to read it. This is more for my sake

A sewing machine, hmm? Nothing at all unmanly about that. ;) No, I'm serious, it's cool that you are able to use the right tool for the job. My tool of choice happens to be a drill, and I can't sew a button to save my life, but nothin' wrong with doing well at things people wouldn't expect you to like, it makes them re-evaluate you and their own preconceptions, so more power to ya. Us. Whatever.
But yeah, that's a really nice present, and obviously shows a lot of thought. *thumbs up* Just don't sew yourself to the fabric, that almost happened to me the first and only time I tried one so I'm just a tad paranoid. >_< Heh, maybe that's WHY I don't sew very well...eh, screw the old saying, I'm not getting back on THAT horse anytime soon. I'll leave it up to you. *sends better luck than mine to teh taco*
Have fun making your costume. :) I'm interested in cosplay armor on a casual basis, actually - shoulderplates and wrist guards were what I'd had for a theoretical costume, but I never got around to researching it. If you find some good ways to make them, though, I'd love to see what you dug up. :)
There are no small jobs, just sm...well, okay, there ARE small jobs, but they pay the bills. Hopefully. And this is just a stepping stone to TACOGREATNESS, I'm sure of it. :)
Cups of Noodles are your friends. So is Ramen. And the free packets of ketchup from McDonalds. XP
Dude, that's...kinda weird. o_O Well, maybe weird for me because my mom lives 1,000 miles away, but... nope, that's still kinda weird, in a sweet way. XP
Why not ask? :P "Hey, what's company policy on the espresso machine?" I know at Wendy's, when my mom was the manager there, employees could get small things from time to time so long as they didn't overdo it. Or you could see about employee discounts, or offer your organs in trade, or something. Mmm, mochaccinos. ^_^
This is...by far...the largest response to a post I have ever had. lol
A couple things in response:
1.) Girls with drills are COOL. I can use a drill as well as most other man-type tools, but I will always be able to say my sister uses them more. Heh. 2.) http://amethyst-angel.com/armormaking.html Go crazy with it. 3.) Thankee for your support. =) And harrassment.
Take into consideration that it's also one of the longest POSTS you've made. And also take into account that I am notorious for verbosity, and there you have it. :P
1) B) 2) w00t! :D
Actually, I remember running across this page when I came up with my own design, but I put off making it because of a lack of funds. It was still quite helpful, though - and will be so again, if I ever get around to it. *shrug* 3) Always, dude. :) *harassharassharass*
