(no subject)
had an exchange tonight with sigma chi. i discovered just how difficult it is to dance in a cast. soft or not, a cast is not the best accessory for dancing.
it was held at a beautiful la restaurant located at melrose and la brea. it's called the bungalow club and i know i will be dining on their unbelievable patio sometime in the next couple of months...maybe with a hottie? the place smelled fantastic and what little food we did sample was yum yum yum! (it was the best hummus i have ever tasted and it had the most delicious mushrooms sauteed in a wine sauce i am not able to put my finger on)
i ended up going as gwen sefani (thank you rachel) and it was good because i felt comfortable. everyone was wearing such hoochie-licious mini-skirts and i was more than happy hiding in my pinstripe pants. i wore a red tank top with a black bikini top over it and blazer to match the pants and wore flashy jewelry. i did my hair and makeup to match also.
before the exchange, i had my first training meeting to be a new student orientation leader. it is nice to be with a group of people who take pride in their school and are excited to see if continually grow into a school that people are excited to attend. well, most of the people are genuine like that. there are a handful who are seeking the priority registration, which i don't need at all because i already am at one of the top tiers for registering and the classes i take aren't exactly the most popular.
so yeah, good times.
