Fife

So I dont know if anyone remebers my post about moving up to Tacoma from Portland, but anyway that will be happening this weekend. But Im not exactly moving to Tacoma, I found a place in Fife. What is Fife like? I would really appreciate any info at this point.

Well I have a car, and Ill probably be buying all my everything on post at Ft. Lewis anyway.
I looked at the smallish and Im from kind of a smalish town in AZ. I think Ill be OK for 6 months. Im sure the difference between portland and Fife may throw me into a bit of a spasm, but Ill get over it.

Fife is about 5 mi. from Federal Way (a suburb between Seattle and Tacoma) via either I-5 or old pacific highway 99. There is tons of shopping in Fed Way, the traffic there is a bitch, but there's tons of shopping.
