Body by routine

When I was in physical therapy for my back, the guy said that whenever you stretch and work out, it's good to do your exercises in a different order all the time, so your body doesn't get used to them. It'll make you stronger and what not. I listened and try to do things in a different order every time.

However, I've noticed that my eating habits are pretty similar on weekdays. On an average day, I'll have a bottle of water at about 9:30, a cranberry juice at 11:30, lunch at 1:30 with another bottle of water, then a bottle of water at 4:00. Dinner later that evening.

Is it good that my body has kind of fallen into that routine, or should I be mixing it up more to keep my metabolism on its toes?
