I have arrived in Glasgow (Cambuslang). There is not much here but trees and cars.
I am wondering righ tnwo why I did this. It is $4 pounds by cab to the train station each way. So, essentially it is $20 Canadian round trip from Cambuslang to the hotel* (serious, if this is a hotel then I am a crossdressing whore of cockroach eating monkeys from downtown manhatten by way of the big orange). I cannot belive there was nothing closer, oh wait, yes I can because there is not much here.
Well a day and a half I think to walk the streets and then I am off.
It shoudn't be too bad, the bad things right now are town is too far to walk and it is $10 pounds a day for internet, that makes it more expensive than where I live. Now, coming from where I currently live I can tell all that every where else on the planet should have cheaper internet. $10 pounds is ridiculous.
Well, off to the restaurant for dinner and then a movie on the laptop because it is too late to go anywhere at all today.
Shoudl have planned this better, but I knew when I planned it there wasn't much here. I just didn't expect a vastness between the nothings. I had thought it was walkable, but it is 3 or 4 miles to the "shopping" area and historical society. Shopping doesn't mean much more than what I have back home. Thank god for expensive internet.
I just have to remember why I am here, Tomorrow morning up early and explore for the day why my grandmother lived here. Then off to the pubs of Edinburgh, I think. I have to triple check my departure times.
