I haven't updated in a little while, but here I am, trying to convey my thoughts and feelings to you, the reader:
Districts are coming up on friday. It's a big deal cuz this is what we train for all season. This single race. Top 3 go to regionals, and we're basically guarenteed a spot because we only really have to worry about one other school in the district. I'm kind of... looking forward to this meet actually. I found out that we're the only school in the district that practices twice a day, 5 days a week and once on the weekends. Every other school only runs whenever they feel like or something... a nice little easy 2 or 3 mile jog and then they're done. So it's only fitting and proper that we win. I'm not talking about top 3 schools, I want us to be number 1. A lot of this depends on me too. Top 5 runners' scores count. The better place you are, the less points you earn your team. The team w/ the least amount of points wins. So it ends up that I'm the 5th man. Everyone else could do really good, but if I do bad.. we could lose district. We have to win. I've worked to hard to be beat by a school that takes cross country as a joke. >:[ commence operation serious cross country mode.
So my cooking class has been going well. Last week we made cookies! snickerdoodles, chocolate chip, and oatmeal raisin. I got compliments from everyone who I let have some. It makes me happy when people enjoy my food :) Mrs. Ferrell even said she loved my oatmeal raisin cookies. Soon we're learning muffins/pastries/breads. Soon to come: rolls, cinnamon rolls, fruit tarts, scones :D I'm looking forward to it.
Since when are double standards and bullshit legal?
So I didn't go to hc. Sue me. I guess that means I have to go next year. Sue me for that too?
Nah'm saying?
