Today was...

Hot. Way too hot. I got into Greg's car this morning, and it was 70 degrees out...70!!! I rolled down my window as we blared Billy Idol on our way to school. Good times. I'm always nervous in the car with Greg. Like when we cross Tiereja Rejada at Mountain Trail, I always think he's not paying attention. Well, we haven't died yet. PE was easy today. We only ran one lap and did circuts with the weights. Chem we did a lab, trying to figure out what was a conductor. Apparantly, the "superconductor" was one. Ok, so in case, my name is Georges, and I'm married to Isabelle. I am 20 years old and I live in (shudder) France. And I'm a roofer. I think this game has a point...but im not exactly sure. Maybe it's that French people have weird names. I dont know. Spanish was muy fruitoso. I know that makes no sense, but stick with me here. Fruitoso is a cognate. English was boring. We did get info about class rings, which still, was boring since I already have mine. Jen just HAD to point it out to the guy. I felt bad. He thought I "cheated the system." Way to go. We read some more Lord of the Flies. I hate that book. The only good part was in the first few pages. I think that's the best insult ever: "Sucks to your (whatever the person said)!"

GO CLAIRE!!! You kicked ass! Looks like the "fear of failure" paid off. That dress was nice and colorful too. And I have to admit, there were some people that I think I could have beaten for Miss Teen Moorpark (No Emily, that doesn't count). Ah, so this week has started off promising. Don't mess it up for me!!!
