"Lost?" WTF?!

Here's something to ponder.

Why do people love the show "Lost".

Its like....no one can tell its a rip off of a famous book.

Maybe you've heard of it.

"Lord of the Flies"? Anyone? LITERATURE?!

Here's my take on it. A shitload of people miraculously survive a airplane crash (while, in reality, if the plane was big enough to sit all those people, chances are the gas tank in the jet would have surely sumised their death--but hark! this is television), and all it entails is drama...after drama...after drama.

Drama.

Ha.

As if real life isn't full of it already, you have to worry about characters on a TV show.

Back to the point, though. I'll sparknote "Lord of the Flies" for those of you who can't "read very good." Children get stranded on an island. They form tribes, fat kid gets killed in the end. They realize what horrible savage beasts they've been, then they eat a piggy.

Or was that before they killed the character so aptly named Piggy?

Hm. More to ponder.

Enough of this drama shit. You're stranded on an island for god knows how long. (And you do realize if you comment as to HOW long they've been on the island, I'll bash you for letting yourself watch that rot). Right, so, stranded blah blah god knows how long blah blah...do you really think anyone gives?

"In tonights news, a plane crashed somewhere in the tropics. Whoopty-damn-do. They're presumed dead. Now, look at these fainting goats!"

Yep. That's how it'd be, clear as day on the evening news...well, maybe minus the "whoopy-damn-do" part...but hey, I wouldn't put it past those newsanchor bastards...hey, i've seen "Anchorman".

In closing....they should at least rename the show.

"Lord of the Bitching and Whining."

'Nuff said.
