[[Theta peers down at the little smiley the girl is drawing, then looks at her face curiously. She reminds her of the girl that had been Allen and Shion's daughter, albeit briefly. She'd died together with the rest of them in the middle of the chaos about Sergei. And she hadn't really seen much of her outside of that. What had been her name? Perhaps she was back again. It was... It was...]]
[ She looks up, completely caught off-guard to hear her own name. This woman doesn't look familiar, though -- unless it's one of her friends from home, turned human just as she's been. For now, she'll just blink. ]
[[She doesn't seem to remember, but given all the trauma associated with what happened before, Theta's not certain that's a bad thing. She nods politely.]]
I suppose you don't remember me. A quirk of this place's macabre sense of humour, no doubt. My name is Elizabeθ Buckley. It's...good to see you again.
That's... [[Not exactly it, but why get herself into a long discussion when it wasn't important?]] Most likely exactly it.
I was trying to make friends with you then... [[Not really, but she was trying to be nice out of a duty to Shion and Allen. Both of them have been droned for a while now, so in an odd way, this is a sort of tribute to their memories. Theta hates children, but she'll do her best to be nice. Until it starts grating on her nerves, anyway.]]
I refuse to consider this my home. I intend to break free and go home with my Darling. [[Theta didn't find out about the shipping wall with the last Nepeta. She has no idea that that may be a bad thing to say.]]
Nor can I tell you where this is. Allegedly, this is Mayfield, a town in the midwest of the United States. Realistically, it could be anywhere, and my personal wager is that it's a pocket dimension outside the normal fabric of space and time. It's the only plausible explanation.
Which would mean you're not on Earth...that's our name for our 'human planet'...at all. It's possible we are, but it's more likely this is just a farce and a mock-up of it.
[ Nepeta perks up at 'Darling', but is quickly distracted by the possibility of more Weird Time Shit. She had enough of pocket dimensions and time-travel and general confusion in canon. ]
Oh, no... more time stuff? I should ask Aradia. What's the United States, and do you know why we can't leave them, purrhaps?
Mm? You think in planets, don't you? Humans...don't always leave the planet, so some of us are used to dividing things up into things called countries. A country is a very large place, much larger than you could visit even in several days, but there's room for many of them on one planet. The United States is one of the countries on Earth. I'm from England, which is a country on the other side of the planet.
[[Yeah Theta does not have the patience to explain it properly or in great detail. If Theta were to look back on this conversation after a quick trip home, though, it would stun her how used to the weird things that happen around here she's gotten.]]
As to why we can't leave...this isn't a good example of the human planet at all. We should be able to leave. But we're trapped here.
Nepeta?

[ It's a pretty common occurrence where she's from. ]
So it was still me but not me, like a me that hasn't happened yet!

Might we try again?

[ Be strong, Theta. She can actually be quite useful if you can sit through the puns, roleplaying, and general silliness. ]
Are you one of the humans? This is on the human planet, right?

I am a human, but this is nothing like my home. Nor is it much like human society anywhere that I know of.

So you woke up here too?
