How to Keep an Idiot in Suspense.
The 3 most recent comment notifications in my LJ inbox are:

So don't waste my time.
Apparently this is what happens when you comment on a post in someone else's Journal, and they later delete the entry, or make it private (friends only), which seems more likely. So you keep getting notifications when their friends comment, but you can't see actual comments.
It sure would be nice if I could just stop these annoyances, but I have no idea whose Journal they're coming from, so I can't unsubscribe...
