summertime.
question: why did i enroll in a summer class?
i have to read one hundred pages of herodotus' the histories by 4:30pm today. i'm also meeting my mom for lunch. i know it's still early but i kind of just want to run and then laze around all day. or read something not for school. bah. this class will be over on june 23rd, after which i will become a total bum. man, i just want to read novels. i'm sick of reading the works of these crazed blind bards from 500BC. boo.
enough of my kvetching. i got a job! that's exciting. i work 3x/week in an nyu office. fun times. i pretty much get paid to play on the computer/read, which is awesome. i'm also hoping to get a running-related job, which i have a quasi-interview for on friday. we'll see how that goes. i really hope that works out.
i'm turning 21 this sunday. wahoo! jen's coming in from boston on friday and then on saturday i'm going out with a bunch of my closest friends (9 of us altogether) to my favorite restaurant, and probably a couple drinks afterward. so it's going to be a group of eight girls + collin. what a pimp. i love that boy.
oh! i ran a 5k this weekend. that was exciting. and then i've got a 10k in central park in june. it'll be my third year running this one and it's definitely one of my favorites. yay. i'm so excited to be running/racing again. it really is making me feel a lot better about everything. now i just have to be extremely careful that i don't injure myself again.
alrighty. i should stop procrastinating and start reading. productivity, here i come.
