funny?
the first thing people who haven't seen me since high school say:
"you've gained weight!"
sometimes followed by:
"it looks good!"
whether or not the weight "looks good," it'd be nice if people kept their damn mouths shut. furthermore, it's not like i didn't notice. i'm not a retard. no need to tell me i'm a good twenty pounds heavier.
ANYWAY.
in "fixing" my computer, my brother erased all of my files. i had my photos backed up on my external hard drive, but not my music. fuck. i've been home borrowing several of my dad's CDs and importing them onto my computer. fun times. also doing this 24-hour urine test thing so i kind of had to sit around at home all day, anyway.
fact: the byrds' version of "my back pages" is better than the bob dylan version. it's true.
still waiting on two of my grades, but i did manage a B- in both american lit I and statistics. awesome. i love how even two years ago i would have been freaking out over a B, especially a B-. now that's pretty good for me. oh, the woes of academic decline! hah.
today i applied to study abroad in london next fall. we'll see if this one works out...
tomorrow = therapy + track practice + laziness. i love vacation.
