If that Pirate Store was at 826 Valencia, then I believe the original mission was education (and pirate supplies arrived later, when some government agency insisted it had to do something business like). If so, I'd say you succeeded admirably in fulfilling that original mission. And hopefully the lesson received was not merely that one should be careful what questions one asks.

I must say I love the "fundamental interconnectedness" of your tales: not everyone manages to link submarines and pirate supplies in such entertaining ways, let alone multiple screaming orgasms!
