That things, especially relationships are always evolving or dissipating, but ever-changing. These situations with friends sometimes have nothing to do with your doing, but just how life goes. There is nothing that you could have done to keep that relationship or to stop it from growing so rapidly. But the effort is always there, it's just up to the fates.
