We're on the MS Elegante on a trip that the crew assures us is a good thing, headed for parts unknown. According to the crew, this place is called "The Golden Shore," but the Major thinks that's all nonsense.

I'm inclined to agree with her, of course, though it's still possible after all this time that it's just a really elaborate hack. Still, even the Major and Mister Batou haven't been able to crack it, so that's pretty troubling notion all on its own.
