Well, as it is drabble day, I have prepared some drabbles for you all. Some are funny, some are serious... all are pretty random. Enjoy. And I'll add more as I write them.
Title: Growing up
Characters: Me, An
When An was little she used to climb into by bed to cuddle with me every night. Whenever I would ask her why she would just say that she had a nightmare, or couldn't sleep, or even just that she loved her big brother. And I loved her too, so I let her stay, snuggled warm against me.
She doesn't cuddle as much anymore, something about growing up. And at times I find myself afraid that maybe our closeness is gone. That she doesn't need her big brother's protection anymore. And it keeps me up at night. That and the fact that the damn kitten I gave her seems to enjoy chewing on my feet while I try to sleep.
I don't try to climb into her bed at night, though. Not since she kicked me in the balls the first time I tried.

There are some things that I really wish that I hadn't been forced to hear. Such as the time that Shinji went off on a rather long and detailed tangent regarding how nice and shapely Akira's behind was at a completely random time. Or all the times that I accidentally overheard the Fudomine orgy jokes that seem to float around (our team is close, but we are not some kind of mass pairing). But I think the worse was what I was subjected to after my parents made me tell An the facts of life.
After all, who gets a lecture on the mechanics of gay sex from their little sister?

Whoever it was that had organized the multi-fandom shinigami beauty pagent clearly hadn't expected the Deathnote shinigami to attend. Much less for one of the Deathnote shinigami to win. In fact, nobody seemed too sure how it had happened. After all, the Bleach shinigami had quiet a selection of good looking death gods to choose from, and the Yami no Matsue shinigami were also rather stunning. Hell, even the Full Moon wo Sagashite shinigami were rather good looking. So how was it that one of the monstrocities of Deathnote had managed to win?
Well, it might have had something to do with the fact that being able to control the judge's reactions directly before death was terribly useful.
