Cherish the Children Auction
Let me just say, do not believe anything a corporate salesman tells you. We went to the action, and I was totally, embarrassingly, overdressed. Thank goodness two of the three other Filenet wives were also. I should have just worn black slacks and a sweater, or a business suit. We did not see any politicos, the venue was the Breslin Center gym floor, and there was no dinner at all, although the hors d'oedouvres were good (except,I hate eating with my hands). Still, some of the auction items were nice. I wish I could have afforded the culinary trip through Tuscany, but alas. All in all, I'd have to say that I thought Becki and Karen did a nicer job at the LHSA auction last year.
