Finding a room in this “hotel” that didn’t have dead humans littering the decor wasn’t easy, so in the end I settled for cleaning one out myself…Dru and I had to get some minions. The room could have been worse, god knows I'd stayed in worse...of course I'd stayed in far better too, but then I had to remind myself; I wasn't in Sunnydale fine dining

"Yeah right." I snorted at him as I watched his eyes scan over my neck. "Like I'd let you bite me." Well, actually....never mind, it didn't matter. That was a time thing, ya know? Just needed to get a happy. Long incarceration, ya know what I'm sayin'?
I was about to say more when he cut me off with his finger. Okay, what the fuck was that? Was he like a bloodhound or something? Cause that was just messed up, I wouldn't wanna be smellin' everyone all the time. Wicked gross.
Rolling my eyes as he took off at a jog, I easily caught up with him. Least he knew where I'd get a decent fight in. Truth be told, I wasn't even plannin' on goin' out on patrol. But there wasn't anything better to do. Maybe hit up the Bronze later or something.
Stopping short behind Spike, I looked up at the hotel that stood in front of us. Weird thing about the Dale? Just when you think you knew it backwards and forwards something new came up. This place always had something just wormin' it's way in.
"Let's check it out." I said with a shrug, as I reached inside my coat pocket for my stake. Gripping it tightly in my hand, I raised on foot up and kicked in the boards over the door. Could always look for another way in somewhere, but destruction was usually more fun.

Faith wasn't one to beat around the bush. Just grabbed her trusty stake, kicked in what remained of the door and headed inside. I reached for the spare stake I had in my jacket, and followed her in.
I knelt down to inspect some of the bodies strewn about the passageway. Most of them had the same kind of wounds.
"Vamps. Blood loss, neck trauma. Maybe it's a new nest. Move in on the residents and keep some for a regular food supply. Seen it happen before. Done it, even. These ones have been dead for a day though."
Then I heard a noise. Sounded like movement, perhaps the vamps were still roaming about the house, rousing for another night's worth of slaughter and mayhem. I pointed down a long hallway, indicating to Faith where the noise had been coming from.
Then gripping my stake I stalked as quietly as I could down the length of the hall. I was hoping that an ambush would be in our favour.

Frowning, I stopped at the same time as he did when I heard a noise at the end of the hallway. Spike pointed it out and I nodded at him as he started down the hallway.
I wanted to ask him why we were sneakin' around in the dark. He was like a super vamp and I was a slayer and the simple fact was that we'd win and these other vamps would lose. Facts were facts and we were just better. But if he wanted to be all melodramatic and sneak around then I guessed I'd humor in. Let the boys get his kicks in where he could.
Following him quietly, I heard a noise coming from the room. Recognized it from....somewhere. The bite marks on my neck were throbbing and it kept distracting me.
Finally I got annoyed and stepped around Spike, ready to throw myself head first into the fight. But I stopped short in the doorway when I saw who it was. The crazy vamp chick from the other night who'd bit me. Her and some blonde vampire.
"Oh man, this is gonna be so much fun." I said, clenching my stake in my hand.
