New Glasses
So, I finally got an eye exam (it's been a while since I've had one, and found out that all this time my problems focusing were due to an astigmatism not just the fact that I'm a bit farsighted. I have these new glasses that I'm almost adjusted to (they're progressives so when I first got them it felt like I was really high up and going to fall) and it makes reading (especially nucleotide/protein sequences at work) much easier. I don't lose focus every time that I blink which is awesome.So I decided to attempt to post a picture with me in my new glasses: 
I'm also pretty excited that my hair is growing back so fast after that huge crazy mistake I made last spring break of getting it cut off. Do you think my glasses look ok? (this picture was just taken a couple minutes ago)
In other news: wedding planning = crazy but really not much left to do and it's still pretty far off, work is crazy (I really need to learn to work only 40 hours a week since I'm salaried now), RCIA is over so mostly I've just been working and hanging out with Joe and such. My life really doesn't seem that exciting at this point, I always forget to post the interesting stories that I have and then by the time I post I don't remember, silly me. Luckily not many people read my random ramblings anyhow (at least I don't think so). I'm much better at talking in real life than trying to think of things to say on livejournal but maybe it's good that I don't write everything I say because that would be too long.
