When ideology kills...
My step mother had multiple aneurysms last year. Her insurance wouldn't cover the multiple surgeries she needed to save her life. Because of the Affordable Care Act, they were able to switch insurance and get her the surgery she needed. She's not out of the woods yet. She still needs at least one more surgery to stabilize the situation. The thing is, both she and my dad voted for Trump. Repealing the ACA could very well lead to her death.
