Do you live in the past, present, or future?

Take a moment to think about it.

What is the past, the present, and the future? I mean, the reality of them is obvious. Perhaps a better question would be, what are these three to youOf course, seldom will any one person live only in one of the three realms. Generally there's just a leaning toward ( Read more... )

Your significant other and I have had many a conversation about this very topic. Reality is a complicated thing, isn't it? This is how I came to understand the term ignorance is bliss. How blissful would it be to never have these thoughts and be able to take everything at face value? I think I've come to the conclusion that existence is something that is forever beyond me. Space time and reality are simply just too much to comprehend. Hopefully, I'll find out when I die. In the meantime, I try my hardest not to think about it. Here's a quote you might want to think about..."I've been thinking about reality so much lately that I've forgotten how to properly enjoy it"

I'm an analyst (*couhgh cough OVER analyst) by nature--I'm sure you know the sort. More than likely you even suffer from the same tendency! And yes, your own conclusion as to existance could not be more correct--there's so much beyond anyone's comprehension that none of us could ever express. Infact, a good number of these questions and thoughs definitely have kept me up a fair number of nights...But not as of late, for whatever reason. I really couldn't explain it very well, it's really just a different way of looking at things that I've accidentally fallen into. It doesn't scare me as much anymore. Doesn't even really bother me or make me uncomfortable ( ... )
