Community Information and Posting Guidelines
Hi There! Welcome to taboo_kabuki!
First off, this place really isn't one of those by-vidders-for-vidders communities. There will be no discussion on the merits of various software, and no self-promotion will be allowed.
taboo_kabuki is also NOT a recommendation site. Not truly. Fanvids will not always be discussed in an approving light...but adulation was never the point, right? At least not in any world I've lived in as a vid fan.
This community is for casual fans who enjoy vids. Period. It's a place where we can discuss the elements of a vid that moved us, disturbed us, annoyed us or just simply didn't quite work.
Again, this community is NOT intended as feedback for the vidder in any way. Please direct complimentary feedback to the vidder at the appropriate location instead.
1) All Posts MUST have the following information:
- Subject Line Containing Fandom & Vid Title
- Fandom
- Song Title/Artist
- Name of Vidder
- A Link to a Download (if available)
- Text (at least a paragraph) with YOUR vid reaction.
- Tag (by fandom)
2) Memories
Community Mods will routinely update the Memories section.
3) Membership and Posts are Moderated
No exceptions.
4) Please be polite.
Civility does not mean agreement. Debate! Have fun! But remember that a little respect goes a long way.
