She sighs while laying back against his chest, smiling as he leans down to place a kiss a top of her head. They sit watching their own image in the turned off television set as they listened to the rain fall against the window. A rare moment for them to have alone with each other, a chance to do almost anything, but this was perfect for them both. The most exciting that had occurred was taking a walk around the neighbor while the storm clouds were rolling in, holding hands and not backing off of each other when someone past, the first time she didn't try to hide. It was a mutual and silent agreement with each other. They were happy with each other, how could they care if another passerby with head sets on noticed? Yet those who strangers, mere passerbys who would forget the image seconds later and move on with life.
"What's wrong Molly?" Carey asks noticing the intense lines in her face.
"Oh nothing just thinking of the things I can never have at least not completely."
"You can have me. Anytime, anywhere, it doesn't matter to me. I rather lose everyone in my life and still have you, than to watch you go." He tightens his grip around her and watches her smile appear again in the reflection.
"It's too much to ask for. Let's just have our fun and carefree time for a while longer, and than move on." She watched for his reaction which came in form a smirk and a shake of the head.
"Why are you trying to run?"
"It's easier this way. I have already lost too many people in my life, I couldn't stand to have you leave me."
"That Molly will never happen, I swear on my very soul. I am willing to wait for you."
"Thank you Carey."
