Jeff suspected that Annie was one of those who never quite understand or accepted the fact that they were beautiful. She would only smile with hints of red in the cheeks and look away after being complimented. It was the stares from others that made a girl like Annie uneasy, thinking it was more teasing, whispers of lies and some half-truths going on behind her back, but in reality it was usually always good. He wanted to see her beauty free from sweaters and hair carefully pulled back, he wanted her to let go and stop hiding from the world. Most of all Jeff wanted to prove his suspections correct.
