I really really wanted to come to NC this weekend. I did. I wish I HAD gone to NC. But I think that my binge drinking on Friday and the subsequent 1.5 day hangover just didn't bode well for a weekend in the Dodge with stinky boys. I wish it had. I wanted to come. I might come down this weekend or next weekend, depending on how everything goes

i read today (can't find the link...but it was msnbc or some shit) that scientists used some fancy equations and shit and determined jan. 24 to be the most depressing day of the year (i'm serious about this article). i tend to agree. jim jones kool aide anyone?

sounds right, tho i was surprised to learn last semester that more suicides occur in april actually, as it's easier to feel like crap when it's cold & grey. when you still feel that way in bright flowers & sunshine, that's what sends people over the edge.

well the, something to look forward to in the spring. geez. that does seem to make some sense, though. in the winter i find that we all wallow in our misery together. its when you're still miserable and everyone else is happy and taking in the spring thaw that it must fall apart.

to clarify tho, april prolly doesn't have more suicides than the entire winter, it's just that it claims more than any other single month.
